The Iranian Neurological Association (INA) is a medical specialty organization under supervision of Ministry of health and Medical education of I.R. Iran. The Association was founded by Professor D. Brimani in 1993 and officers are elected by Iranian neurologists every four years. The aim of the Association is to improve the health and well-being of people with neurological disorders by advancing the knowledge and practice of neurology in Iran. Meetings of the Association are held annually and our 16th annual meeting will be held in Tehran from May 19-22, 2009. Since 2007, we have officially become a delegate member of World Federation of Neurology and the neurophysiology branch of INA is a member of International Federation of Clinical Neurophysiology. The official scientific journal of INA is Iranian Journal of Neurology which is published quarterly in English and Farsi.
